Men of War 2 is a sequel to the original cult hit Real-Time Strategy game Men of War from 2009 has been announced. Men of War 2 is coming to Steam and other stores in 2022, which is developed by Ukrainian studio Best Way, where you can play as either the Allies or the Soviets in story campaigns on the Western Front and on the Eastern. The first official reveal trailer was uploaded on YouTube by 1C Entertainment, a Russian publisher.
It includes the old direct control system, which lets you pop down to check things out from the perspective of an individual soldier being enhanced into something called Direct vision, a tool that lets you focus solely on one unit at any time and upgrade, change or repair equipment on the fly. On the press release, it was said, “Manage attritional battles and breakthrough undefended lines to advance the areas of maps under control, digging trenches and supporting troops in the newly won territory.”
The online multiplayer will have a mode where players can compete as the Allies, Soviets, or Germans or skirmish and challenge maps and also can co-operate against AI forces. They also included full mod support too.
The demonstration has clearly shown how comprehensive Men of War 2 is in depicting World War 2 battles with over 300 vehicles and 45 different army battalions covering just about every imaginable role in the three major armies represented. The user can have their forces be supported by artillery weapons, which must be kept concealed from the enemy using camouflage. The user also has the ability to shape the battlefield themselves with infantry able to dig the trenches and construct various defensive fortifications. The game is running on a new version of Best Way’s GEM engine, which has been purpose-built for it and upgraded to support HDR, 4K resolutions, modern lighting effects, and so on.
The actual release date of Men of War 2 isn't confirmed. However, it is sure to be available in 2022.

This new dynamic campaign has been designed for a super replayable single-player experience.”

It looks that the campaigns will tell the stories of the gritty battles toward the beginning of the war, as well as the bigger, more renowned victories as the war reaches its conclusion and end up seeing combat taking place on the snowy Eastern Front and European cities.

For a better experience, a 64-bit processor with an operating system of Windows 10 64bit is required. The processor must be Intel Core i7 7700k with 16 GB RAM. The storage should have 10 GB space available and a 100 Mbit/s internet connection for multiplayer/coop.
