King's Raid is a Korean game based on "character collection SRPG" that enables players to build their party with characters of their preference without the use of the Gacha system. It is an RPG based on a free-to-play side-scrolling mechanism developed by Vespa and published by a Thailand-based Company named GloHow.
The game made its debut on Android and iOS devices on 19 September 2016, in Thailand. After the debut of the game, it was released worldwide, consisting of 3 servers on 16 February 2017.
And now, the good news is that King's Raid game is heading to an anime adaptation. Here's all the scoop:
Release Date Of King's Raid Anime Adaptation - "King's Raid: Heirs of the Will"
The immersive real-time 3D battle RPG mechanism and interesting storylines have made King's Raid game to boast more than 13 million downloads worldwide. So it's no surprise that this gaming sequel is heading to an anime adaptation that is currently underway.
It was announced during the VESPA's mobile game in April 2020 that King's Raid is getting an anime adaptation titled "King's Raid: Heirs of the Will," Japanese: (Kinguzu Reido Ishi o Tsugu Mono-Tachi).
The official Twitter account opened its image visual while YouTube showed the first two-minute teaser (trailer).
When it comes to the release date of King's Raid anime series, it is expected to make its debut in the late fall of 2020.
The series is going to be animated by OLM and Sunrise Beyond, respectively. And, it is going to be directed by Makoto Hoshino and composed by Megumi Shimizu.
What's The Plot Of King's Raid Anime Adaptation?
The anime sequel of King's Raid will unfold an innovative storyline that is distinct from the game. It is anchored in the continent of Orbis, where swords and magic exists. Since King Kairu of Orvelia destroyed the Demon Lord Angmund, the continent has been living in a peaceful environment for 100 years.
The story is based on the protagonist named Kasel, who is an apprentice knight. However, his destiny begins to shift when he receives news that a monster has appeared in his neighborhood. After defeating the beast, he embarks on an adventure with the guidance provided by a wise man to seek the sealed holy sword.
Along his journey, Kasel meets many companions who will fight alongside him to drive back the darkness that is threatening the world.
