Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Blade of Demon Destruction) is a Japanese light novel series based on genres such as adventure, dark fantasy, and martial arts. The light novel series was authored and portrayed by Koyoharu Gotoge. The novel series has been serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since February 2016, comprising a total of 19 Tankobon chapter volumes. Viz Media and Shueisha published the novel on different manga media platforms.
The novel series was made into an anime adaptation by Ufotable, which aired from 6th April to 28th September 2019, comprising a total of 26 episodes. Haruo Sotozaki directed the anime adaptation while Hikaru Kondo and Akifumi Fujio produced the series.
The opening theme for this anime series was "Gurenge" by Lisa, while the ending theme was "From the Edge" by FictionJunction feat. Lisa. The ending theme for the 19th episode was titled "Kamado Tanjirō no Uta" by Go Shiina, starring Nami Nakagawa.
The anime adaptation was licensed by Aniplex of America, while Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu streamed the animated series.
The Announcement, Release Date, And Trailer Of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie- 'Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train'
After the ending of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime Season 1, a sequel film titled 'Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train' was announced. The film will adapt the direct sequel of the anime series based on the "Infinity Train" story arc from the manga series. The anime movie is going to be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, while Akira Matsushima is going to reprise the role of the character designer, respectively.

In April 2020, it was announced that Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train would release theatrically in Japan on 16th October 2020.
Ufotable Studio also released a small teaser and visual comprising of a 20-second video trailer for the upcoming Demon Slayer movie. It can be watched on the official site, Twitter account, and Youtube channel.
In addition to the movie, Season 2 of Kimetsu no Yaiba is also determined to be released, which will continue the story plot from the anime movie ending. Ufotable Studio has stated that they are also working for Season 2 alongside the movie adaptation.
Season 2 of Kimetsu no Yaiba is speculated to release in 2021 or 2022.
The Plot Of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train
Kimetsu no Yaiba focuses on the era of the Taisho period in Japan and revolves around a boy named Tanjiro Kamado and his demon sister Nezuko. Tanjiro's sole purpose in his life is to turn his demonic sister back to human again while avenging the deaths of his entire family. Thus, he starts on his quest to become the demon slayer to protect what's important to him and find answers for a way to turn her back into normal.
The story plot of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train will continue from the ending of the first seasons, including many insane surprises and challenges. The movie adaptation will adapt the seventh and eighth volumes of the manga series based on the "Infinity Train" story arc.
The movie is going to center around the flame pillar of demonic slayer corps named Rengoku. Tanjiro yearns to know about “Dance Of The Fire God,” an inherited procedure which he unconsciously used against the 'Lower Moon 5,' so he seeks answers from the Flame Hashira.

•Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro is the main protagonist of Kimetsu no Yaiba. He becomes a demon slayer to protect his sister, Nezuko, while trying to turn her back into a normal person. He also seeks revenge on a particular person named Muzan Kibutsuji, who slaughtered his whole family, leaving him deprived of loss. He and his sister Nezuko were the only two sole survivors of the outcome. Tanjiro has a keen sense of smell, which allows him to trace down demons while evading their attacks. He also acquires a new fighting style named "Sun Breathing" technique, which he merges with the "Water Style" technique to create a more devastating fighting style.

Nezuko is one of the main protagonists of Kimetsu no Yaiba, and is the younger sister of Tanjiro. During the attack led by Muzan to eliminate the bloodline quota of Tanjiro's family, she was the only sole survivor of the onslaught but became a demon instead. She retains her memories alongside human emotions and feelings. Nezuko possesses numerous powers, including superhuman strength, regeneration, growing, and shrinking rapidly. She also possesses a unique blood demon technique called "Blood Burst" that prompts her blood to burn outside her body.

Zenitsu is a cowering boy who enters the Demon Slayer Corps. He possesses an unusual technique named "Thunder Breathing" fighting-style, which was passed down by a former thunder Hashira. He can fight when he is asleep or unconscious, but he learns to control his fears aside and take action. He teams up with Tanjiro for a mission, and since then, he has loitered along with him, partially out of his obsession with Nezuko. His sword's color is gold and possesses a heightened sense of perception, which enables him to recognize a person's true nature by the vibration of their heartbeat.
