Yael Cohen Braun Responds To Husband Scooter Braun’s Divorce

Yael Cohen Braun has responded to her husband, Scooter Braun’s request for a divorce, five months after the filing of documents in July. As per some reports, the two had gone their separate ways in July ending their marriage of seven years.

Her ex-husband, Scooter has asked for joint custody of their three children and agreed to spousal support and is represented by Laura Wasser in the divorce. It was also reported that the couple had signed a prenup drawn by Laura Wasser.

Yael Cohen has requested her ex-husband to pay for Spousal support along with the attorney’s fees. Additionally, she wants joint legal and physical custody of their brood and has cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as their reason for divorce according to documents obtained by E! News on Monday.

According to a source close to the businesswoman, Yael shared that they weren’t ready to break up for good and wanted to take time apart where they could focus on their kids and give the relationship a break. They added, “ they aren’t giving up on the marriage and are hopeful they can find a way to make it work. But for now, being apart is for the best.”

Yael Cohen Braun met her now ex-husband at a TED Talk Show and got engaged after a year of meeting. Her then-husband tweeted about the proposal on his Twitter and wrote, “Loving 2014, Luckiest Guy in the world.”

They got married at Whistler, British Columbia, Canada on 6 July 2014 having celebrity guests like Sophia Bush, Tom Hanks, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran. Don’t blame him because Kim caught you in a lie, it’s embarrassing I know but adults own up to their mistakes. We learn and grow from them, we don’t divert blame and blur the lines of reality to suit our needs.”

However, the couple has now gone their separate ways for now although many wish they will bounce back for the sake of their kids and still love each other. Their split was announced four days after Braun celebrate their seven years anniversary on Instagram writing, “If just for the kids you have given me everything. But thanks to you I have grown, I have been pushed to be the best version of myself and to continue growing and learning. That all happened because you came into my life. 7 years. The adventure is just beginning. Thank you Yae. I love you. Happy anniversary.”

They have three children together. They welcomed their first child, Jagger Joseph Braun in 2015 and Levi Magnus Braun in 2016. They had their youngest child, Hart Violet Braun join the family in 2018.
