Tom Girardi and his reality star wife, Erika Jayne, have called off their marriage. USA Today mentioned that Girardi's ex-wife, who appeared in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, opened about their split via her representative on 3 November 2020. 'After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not a step taken lightly or easily,' she said.
Similarly, she added that she has great love and respect for Tom and their years and the lives they built together.

Stating more about their separation, Erika Jayne asked to respect their privacy. She mentioned, 'It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserve. I request that others give us that privacy as well.'
At age 81, Tom Girardi had been enjoying marital bliss with the 49 years old reality star for twenty-one years since 1999. They were a pinnacle of a sustained romantic bond despite having a huge age gap of 48 years. They first met in Los Angeles while Jayne was working as a waitress and drifted a friendship.
