Thomas Haden Church was born to Thomas Richard McMillen on 17 June 1960 (age-60 years) in Woodland, California. She is the third child among six children to his parents Maxine (1936) and Carlos (1936-2008).
Halen's mother, late Maxine, was a homemaker, and his father, late Carlos "Carl" Richard McMillen, worked as a US Marine and became a Surveyor. After the divorce of his parents, Thomas moved to Texas with his mother. Maxine remarried George Quesada in 1969. Haden's stepfather, George, was a widowed WWII veteran who served in Guam and died in 2012.
