Shay Mitchell took to her instagram on Monday announcing that she and her boyfriend, Matte Babel are expecting second baby together. The actress shared the news one week after she announced the death of her grandmother on her instagram. She wrote a lengthy post sharing her process of welcoming her second baby after losing her grandmother.
She began with,
"Saying goodbye to a loved one while simultaneously experiencing the joy of welcoming another into this world is the great cycle of life. It is also my most chanlleging season to date. I can't help but think this was the universe's plan all along, knowing I would need other worldly joy to cushion the blow of losing one of the most important people in my life."
She shared a topless snaps of her showing off her baby bumps and added in the caption,
"Yet, this is proof that love, life and loss can profoundly exist all at the same time. Gram, I miss you everyday. Little one, we are so excited to meet you. I breather a sigh of peace knowing you two are already connected in such a cosmic way."
Shay Mitchell and her boyfriend, Matte Babel welcomed their first baby in 2019 and documented her first pregnancy in her Youtube series called Almost Ready. She had experienced miscarriage at 14 weeks in 2018.
