At the age of five, Sharna began her training in dancing. She has won several local and national titles in dancing at eight years old. Sharna represented Australia at the standard and Latin styles at the World Championships when she was only 15 years old. In 2000, she performed a closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympic game. When she was 18 years, she moved to London to become a professional dancer.
