Relationship Details Of Scott Rigsby And Brooke Burke
Scott Rigsby has been engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Brooke Burke.
The pair’s relationship took to new heights after successfully dating for two years until being an engaged couple, while Brooke celebrated her 50th birthday on 8 September 2021.
Scott resolved himself and finally popped the question to Brooke in front of family and friends while Brooke’s birthday celebration continued in Malibu, California.
While Scott doesn’t seemingly own any social media accounts, his now-fiancee took to Instagram to share a couple of snaps from her birthday celebration along with a sweet picture of Scott embracing the birthday girl from behind.
The caption for the post also included a special shoutout to Scott, as Brooke wrote, “Following my birthday bliss, so thankful for family, friends & of course birthday cake Rigs.”
After Scott got an affirmative for his proposal from Brooke, they flew over to Italy to enjoy a sweet vacation. The Daily Mail recently released an article of the couple enjoying their vacation along with some snaps of the couple cuddling on a yacht as Brooke flaunted her engagement ring while sipping in some champagne.
Scott began dating Brooke in the August of 2019 and now has been engaged to each other while they still seem to be in so much love than ever before. All the more, the pair doesn’t shy away from displaying their love to the public as they have been making several public sightings ever since they started dating.
Whilst during the 2020 quarantine session, Brooke exclusively said to Closer Weekly that she and Scott enjoyed some “intimate” date nights continuously for about “four to six months”.
Though they were at home, the pair didn’t spare any efforts on making their date nights worthwhile as they “would make the effort to light candles and put flowers on the table”. Moreover, the quarantine also gave a chance for the diverse family of the pair to have “mandatory family dinners for six months”.
The duo made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at Operation Smile’s Hollywood Fight Night in Los Angeles in November 2019 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. And more amazingly, the couple spent almost all of their time at the event holding one another and laughing at each other’s jokes.
They also had a PDA-packed post-Malibu dinner date on October 2020, while, of course, the couple cuddled and passionately hugged, making most of their dinner night like teenagers.
Prior to his relationship with Brooke, Scott had previously walked the aisle once with his ex-wife, former model-turned-interior designer, Heather LaCombe. The pair welcomed two children together and reportedly divorced in 2019 after enjoying ten years of being together.
But their divorce was quite tumultuous, ending up in a long and nasty legal battle. The divorce settlement was made after Rigsby was ordered to pay LaCombe $400,000 and $8,500 in monthly child support for their two children, whom they agreed to share legal and joint custody of.
Moreover, LaCombe was also granted of domestic violence restraining order for herself, her kids, and her boyfriend, Todd Thompson, after claiming to be threatened by the real estate developer. She filed a legal report on that matter saying that Rigsby had been threatening to send sexually explicit videotapes recorded without her knowledge to her boyfriend, Todd, for humiliation.
LaCombe also reportedly accused Rigsby of domestic violence on her and the children of the family during June 2017. But the allegations were all denied made against him, as he claims to have never “physically, mentally, or emotionally abused Heather or our children.”
But, it finally ended with the pair finalizing their divorce in July 2019, listing their cause as “irreconcilable differences”, with them dividing their various bank and retirement accounts and credit cards. Lastly, Rigsby agreed to pay $1.4 million of the deed’s balance while also giving up on the Pacific Palisades home.
