Regina Spektor Returns With New Single 'Becoming All Alone

Singer-songwriter Regina Spektor recently announced her new album titled Home, before and after, is set to be released in June 2022 through Warner Records. She surprised her fans with the new album as it is the first new album since her album, Remember Us To Life, in 2016, meaning it took her almost five-six years to come back with a full album.

The singer announced her release date for her new album along with the release of her title track, Becoming All Alone. The song is produced by John Congleton and co-produced by Spektor. A lyrical video with doodles was released for the new single Becoming All Alone via Youtube on 22 February.

The new album has ten songs altogether, and they are Becoming All Alone, Up The Mountain, One Man's Prayer, Raindrops, SugarMan, What Might Have Been, Spacetime Fairytale, Cpin, Loveology, and Through a Door.

Regina Spektor has an estimated net worth of $12 million, and she rose in popularity after performing into the anti-folk scene in downtown New York City in her early days. Regina was born on 18 February 1980 in Moscow, Russia, and she has an Ashkenazi, Jewish ethnicity. She attended Frisch School and Fair Lawn High School.

Her parents had a huge influence on her for music as her father was an amateur violinist and her mother was a music teacher. She inherited her parents' skills by the age of 7 and attended a conservatory to improve her skills. She was nine years old when her family left Russia during the Perestroika due to anti-semitism in 1989 to America. Her highest sales were in 2016 when her album, Remember Us To Life and The Hamilton Mixtape with various artists sold approximately 560 thousand copies and earned her $728,000.

Regina Spektor has been married to singer-songwriter Jack Dishel since 2011. Her husband was a guitarist in the band, The Moldy Peaches, and now he is a member of the band, Only Son. 

The couple often collaborates with each other and has a song called Call Them Brothers. The pair became parents to their son in March 2014. The singer, Regina, announced the birth of her son via Facebook and wrote, "Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know that Jack and I have been happily hanging out with our new little son and that all is going great!" She ended the post by thanking everyone for the good wishes and good vibes.

She posted the happy news with no photos of their son, and she had also missed the Grammy Awards due to her pregnancy. She was nominated for 'You've Got Time, ' which was the theme song from 'Orange is the New Black.' She announced her pregnancy as the reason for her missing out on Grammy Awards. She wrote that she would have definitely gone to LA for all the fun in a party dress and with bells on, only if she wasn't super pregnant at that moment. She shared that she and her partner were very excited to be expecting a brand new human together.
