The singer and songwriter Park Yoo Chun will no longer appear in any of the projects and activities in the Korean Entertainment Industry.
According to media outlet YTN reports, the legal representative of former JYJ member Park Yoochun’ management company Yesperar Co. Ltd stated, "There was an injunction made to the Seoul Central District Court in order to ban Park Yoo Chun from making appearances on TV shows and from continuing his activities in the entertainment industry.”
“Until the final judgment is made for the case, Park Yoochun may not produce albums or videos, appear in advertisements or commercials, engage in character business, make broadcast appearances, or carry out entertainment activities for a third party other than Yesperar.” stated by the court.
The legal representative also extended the company’s gratitude over the decision made by the court and pledged to resolve the issue without any groundless defamation or committing slander. Yesperar Co. Ltd had gained the rights for Park Yoochun until sometime by the end of 2024. Recielo had sold Park’s contract to Yespaerar Co. after his years of probation period ended, and the Yesperar company wanted to stop the artist’s activities.
What Was Park Yoo Chun Contract Dispute?
The former Kpop star, Park Yoo Chun, had announced his official retirement from the entertainment industry after drug charges in 2019, which resulted in the termination of his contract with his previous agency, C-JeS Entertainment. However, he resumed his activities by signing an exclusive contract with Recielo in January.
However, Recielo said that they are suffering financial damage and felt betrayed by Park’s violation when they heard that Park had signed a double contract with a Japanese agency. They also denied Park’s false claims that he had terminated their contract because of the CEO’s alleged embezzlement. They said, “ What Park said about Recielo in Japanese media reports is totally groundless and seriously defames our CEO’s reputation. Receilo was founded by Park’s longtime manager, who has been with him since his JYJ years, in order to help with his comeback.”
According to the statement, Park Yoochun used the company’s credit card to purchase luxury gifts and spent 100 million Won over an adult entertainment business. Moreover, the CEO even helped Park with the problem of covering up to 2 billion Won in personal debt.
Before getting into any of the scandals, Park Yoo Chun was formerly known as Micky Yoo Chun, started acting through minor roles with his TVXQ bandmates in Banjun Theater and Vacation. Park Yoo Chun was popular as a singer, songwriter, and actor, but now he is known for his scandals and controversies. In 2019, the former member of JYJ, Park, was accused of buying and taking drugs with his ex-fiancee Hwang Ha-na on six occasions. A sample of his hair came back positive for methamphetamine. He was sentenced to two years of probation with ten months in prison and fined US$1,200 over drug use.
Park Yoo Chun had also sold his photobook titled ‘SOMEDAY,’ which has a description of The sunflower which means waiting in the language of flowers. He had also uploaded the photobook to his Instagram account, and he sold it for 90.000 won.
The actor was also accused of sexual assault by several women when he was in the middle of his two-year mandatory military service in 2016. The police and lawyers sued those women for defamation and blackmail at that time, but in 2019, investigations were done again, and Park Yoo Chun was found guilty, and he had bribed the police back then to drop the charges against him and turn the table around.

Recielo had exposed Park Yoo Chun stating, “ Park Yoo Chun also gave the company card to his girlfriend, who was living with him at that time, buying luxury stuff. Park Yoo Chun also paid up to 100 million won for games.” Park was also exposed for having more than 50 girlfriends and gambling in various nations.
His ex-fiancee had once posted a photo showing her cut wrist and blood on the floor with a caption that said, “XXX Call me, XXX.” Later, she deleted the post and made new writing, “ I won’t say what I want to say, and I will shut my mouth and close my ears. Just don’t speculate. I'm tired, and it’s difficult.”
Park’s ex-fiancee is the only granddaughter of Namyang Dairy Products and an Instagram influencer, Hwang Ha Na. She was also sentenced to two years of prison and confessed that Park Yoo Chun was an accomplice during a police investigation.
