In an interview with the Grand Rapids Herald-Review, David Shore, creator of The Good Doctor, said,
“Every year we explore a new challenge, a new opportunity for Shaun. An unexpected pregnancy is both. It’s incredibly exciting, but are they ready for this? Is it the right time? We want both Shaun and Lea to explore that.”
In the recent interview with TV Line, the actress said she was excited “to explore” how Lea and Shaun, her on-screen partner, would handle the pregnancy storyline.
Since there is a presumption that Paige is already engaged, some of her fans have also speculated that Paige might be pregnant in real life, and the baby bump she will be showing in the series might be real.
