Renjun Breaks Records With His Personal Instagram Account
As Renjun joins the social media platform, Instagram @yellow_3to3, his fans are thrilled to have him on the platform with his own personal account.
Renjun has already gained 1.5 million followers within the first few hours of opening the account. And the number of followers is still on the rise as of now, and his first post has amassed over 1.8 million likes.
His first post was uploaded along with a side shot of himself in a black-and-white filter, captioning, “Hey guys this is Renjun and this is my Instagram!!,” he added, “I’ll be uploading photos of my daily life here so I’m very excited to see you all visit my page!!”
As mentioned in his post, he will be uploading some glimpses of his daily life, mostly in his free time. As of this writing, his followers have currently reached 2 million, and it is sure to rise when other NCT group fans come across his account.
Who Is Renjun? Age & Height
Renjun was born on 23 March 2000 in Jilin, China, as Huang Ren, being the only child in his family. Information about his parents is not disclosed as of now. Because of where he lived, he grew up bilingual in both Korean and Mandarin.
Regarding his educational background, he attended Jilin Korean Ethnic Minority Experiment School until high school and later transferred to the Beijing Contemporary Music School to graduate from there.
Renjun said he has been practicing ballet and contemporary dance. He showed potential in his singing capabilities at a young age, which led him to take the path in the entertainment industry. Then, he learned about K-pop groups and idols. He began auditioning for a chance to walk his desired path and successfully signed a contract with SM Entertainment, one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea.
The 21-year-old stands at the height of 1.71 m, being the shortest among his NCT Dream band members. He has a decent weight with a slim body appearance.

With his endeavors in the entertainment industry, Renjun has earned quite a lot of fame and wealth accounted to his name. Renjun has also released other songs in collaboration with artists from NCT and outside in his career, including Hair In The Air (with Yeri, Jeni, and Jaemin) and A New Beginning (with Chenle). He also worked as a Radio DJ in EFM TBS for the program Akdong Seoul for about a year between 2019 and October 2020. Renjun has also appeared in TV shows such as Weekly Idol in 2018 and Idol Room in 2019.
He has charmed many through his vocals and dances, which earned him the nickname The Prince of China.
Does Renjun Have A Girlfriend?
During his time on the radio show Akdong Seoul, Renjun once gave a thoughtful response to a female fan who voiced her hurt over finding out the guy she dated had moved on.
The fact that she had only been able to find out through social media made it even more heartbreaking. Before Renjun gave his opinion, he let host Wenrui speak first. Having grown up with many female family members, Renjun let his opinion known while Wenrui understood the guy. He still believed the situation to be quite rude and hurtful for the girl.
He then gave his own advice for the people going through the same issue and avoided playing with other people’s feelings. He warned listeners to be honest with whoever they’re dating.
Talking about himself, he does not have any dating partners. But he once, he was rumored to be dating. However, apparently, sorting out the rumor subjects, the girl was actually the car's driver. Renjun was seen entering the car and then left it, previously leaving all of the things inside of the car. But because the car had to move, that’s why Renjun had trouble finding it and mistakenly ended up in a similar car. Nonetheless, later on, the rumor was cleared up by Renjun himself.
Though he has not been dating anyone, fans like to get the idea of the ideal type Renjun would date. Similarly, a fan guessed: “Someone who’s not too short nor too tall, so about his height. Dresses in beanies and sweaters and likes odd patterns and color matches. Someone with long wavy hair, who will let him braid and play with it. Likes to smile and giggle and tends to cover their mouth with their hands subconsciously.”
Another added: “I think Renjun would suit an ambivert; someone who could bring his energy up by being energetic and outgoing, but not overly excitable that he dreads doing anything or feels run down a lot of the time. Or someone who was quiet at first but then with time opened up and grew in confidence; he’d like having someone to become more confident with.”
