On 8 August 2020, the former AOA member Kwon Mina posted a worrying Instagram post, which alarmed her fans and family about her condition. She shared a horrible picture of self-harm on her Instagram feed with a message, which appeared like a suicide note.
It features her call out of Shin Jimin, who reportedly bullied her during her time with the group Seolhyun, and FNC Entertainment CEO Han Sung Ho.
As per allkpop.com, she wrote:
"I don't want to go unfairly. Shin Jimin, Han Sung Ho, Kim Seolhyun, live well. My mom, older sister, and family weren't able to say anything and will probably cry though they've done nothing. Compensate them all for mental distress. Please give them a lot. You're the kind of person who only knows about money. The account wasn't even settled properly, the contract was 8 years, and there was no breakdown of expenditures for the illegal trainee debt of 3 billion Won ($2,522,758.80 USD)."
Mina further mentioned:
"You didn't answer me when I contacted you until the end. Irresponsible people. You don't even know how I was treated for 11 years, and to the bystanders or whatever, listen carefully. Those people are all like trash that I can't even describe. Do you even know the kind of people who'll push for a sane person's death? I'm happy, but I want to go. It's painful here. Don't come to my funeral when I die. You're dirty. When I die, I'll torment you all. I can't live with this evil, okay."
Furthermore, she shared another post on her Instagram that ignited the concern about her safety. However, the posts have been since deleted from her official account.

Later, the former AOA member got hospitalized in an emergency room after her worrying Instagram post. As per her agency, Woori Actors: 'Kwon Mina has been transported to the nearest emergency room. She is alive and currently receiving appropriate care from the hospital.'
The agency (label) contacted the police department after Mina's worrying Post. The label mentioned:
"After seeing Kwon Mina's social media post, we contacted the police and 119 first. The ambulance has arrived in front of her home, and they're opening the door. A rep from the agency is also on the way to Kwon Mina's house. However, the exact situation of Kwon Mina has yet to be determined."
As of the recent update, Woori Actors has assured her fans that she is in good health, and there is nothing to worry about. The agency released a statement regarding the concern of the public, where they said, 'Kwon Mina is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Her life is not in danger at the moment. There is no need to worry.'
