Mikey North's appearance can be gone from the ITV soap Coronation Street. North, who portrays the role of Gary Windass in the production himself, admitted that he is currently unsure about his future in the solvent due to his illegal activities. Gary (Mikey North) is seeing a challenging mode around the show after he killed Rick Neelan (portrayed by Greg Wood) and buried him in nearby woodland with his girlfriend with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Barlow (Tina O'Brien).
Also, the secret is about to discover the horrifying truth after Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) sells her watch she found buried in the woods with Rick's name engraved on it. Besides that, the presence of Rick's wife Laura (Kel Allen) and teenage daughter Kelly (Millie Gibson) has pushed him to the pressure. It somehow hints Mikey's shortened time in the show.

However, he does not know what will happen to his character 'Gary' in the long run. Speaking to Loose Women on 27 July 2020, North stated;
"Honestly, I've shot as far as I know now, and I'm waiting to hear when I'm going back and what I'm going to do. So this might be it, although I hope not!"
