Michelle Branch Is Pregnant Again After Months Of Miscarriage

The happy occasion for Michelle comes months after having a miscarriage previously as she shares the joy among her fans and followers.

Michelle announced her pregnancy via Instagram on 15 August 2021, with her husband, the drummer for The Black Keys, Patrick Carney, as they revealed expecting their second child.

Sharing a glimpse of her morning routine of having breakfast, as she bakes some scones with her husband and son Rhys James Carney, she began her caption, writing, “You know you’re pregnant when…”

She captioned:

“Woke up to a picture my friend Sonya sent of scones she was eating in England and I immediately had to hop out of bed and make a batch myself. @officerpatrickcarney was my hero (as usual) and went to the market in search of double cream. Couldn’t be more excited (and nervous! Hello pregnancy after miscarriage anyone?!) to announce baby Carney is coming early 2022! *recipe is @nigellalawson, duh.”

Michelle first broke the news of her suffering the miscarriage in December last year, along with a series of photos of her enjoying Christmas with her son, husband, daughter (with ex-husband Teddy Landau), Owen, and sister via Instagram.

She explained about the horrendous thing a mother could experience, miscarriage, which she suffered for herself. But she further added that her “precious family, my husband, sister, and kids have been the MVPs” for preventing her from the breakdown of losing a child to miscarriage.

Michelle Branch Married Life With Husband Patrick Carney

Michelle Branch is a married woman who tied the knot with the drummer of The Black Keys, Patrick Carney, on 20 April 2019

The marriage ceremony was held at Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, which presented the attendees of the couple’s family and friends, including Branch’s daughter Owen, and the couple’s son, Rhys, along with prominent celebrities like chef Andrew Zimmern and photographer Brian Bowen Smith.

Branch walked down the aisle donning her beautiful dress designed by Temperley London, as the Symphony Chorus played the classic song I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.

The couple first met at a 2015’s Grammy Awards party, and after Corney co-produced Branch’s album Hopeless Romantic, it saw the beginning of their romance. Since then, the couple started dating, moved in together in Nashville in June 2016, followed by a romantic proposal of Carney to Branch on her 34th birthday in 2017.

They were even set to marry soon at the time, but after learning about her first pregnancy, the pair delayed their wedding and welcomed their child, Rhys James, instead, in late August 2018.

Prior to her relationship with Patrick, Michelle was married to Teddy Landau for nearly 11 years, between 2004 and 2014. They welcomed a daughter whilst in a relationship named Owen Isabelle Landau. Unfortunately, the couple separated after Michelle filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, which was finalized in late 2015 with the joint custody of their daughter Owen.

Net Worth Of Michelle Branch And Her Career

With her years of efforts in her professional career, Michelle Branch has had numerous successful stints in the music industry, which brought a fortune of wealth to her name. According to CelebrityNetWorth, she has an estimated net worth of $15 million.

From a very young age of three, Michelle piqued an interest in music, and her parents have supported her ever since to help her walk the path of a musical career. While arranging for her to receive musical lessons, her parents even booked several gigs around the town for furthering her career in music. Michelle self-produced an album Broken Bracelet in 1998, which featured the compilations of the songs she had written as a teenager.

Michelle began her career as a singer in the early 2000s. During her prime, she released her two top-selling albums, The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper. Whilst releasing those albums, she was also well-loved for her popular songs, including Everywhere, Are You Happy Now?, All You Wanted, and Game of Love, featuring Santana.

Besides, she has also released EPs, including Everything Comes and Goes, Sooner or Later, Texas In the Mirror, Take a Chance on Me, and Long Goodbye, released in the early 2010s.

During her early music career, she collaborated with several of the musicians, including Santana, Gregg Alexander, Rick Nowels, and Justincase, among a few others, for helping them in producing their songs and albums.

Moreover, she also made a country crossover, forming a duo band named the Wreckers, with Jessica Harp, in 2005. They released an album, Stand Still, Look Pretty, which went gold in 2009, and also one of their songs, Leave the Pieces, was Grammy-nominated. But the group went on to disband only after two years of being together, in 2007.

Additionally, Michelle has also had a career in acting. She has appeared in the shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, One Tree Hill, Hell’s Kitchen, while also being a host for the web series Cook Taste Eat with chef Michael Mina.

Michelle usually stayed low-key in her music career in the 2010s until she released her third solo album, Hopeless Romantic, with Verve Records, after 14 years of her second album co-produced by her now-husband, Patrick Carney. But that was not the case, as Michelle revealed during her appearance in Elle, that her label Warner Bros consistently tried her to turn into something she is not, which, of course, she denied doing. The situation eventually escalated to the point where everything, including her singles and albums, she turned to the label for releasing was shelved each and every time by the higher-ups there.

As of now, Michelle’s debut album, The Spirit Room, is nearing its 20th anniversary, for which Branch is planning to re-record the album as she announced it during early 2020 on a Snapple Live Stream. She also seemingly hinted at the reunion of the Wreckers.
