Michael Barrett Is Secretly Married To Anna Faris
Michael Barrett was previously engaged to Anna Faris, and it seems that they have finally tied the knot.
The marriage announcement came from Anna during an episode of the Anna Faris is Unqualified podcast on July 21 of 2021. She revealed that she and Barrett have eloped in Washington State.
“I’m looking around… my fiance’s right – he’s now my husband. Yes, we eloped,” she said during a conversation with a caller before apologizing to him for spilling the beans. “It was awesome, yeah, it was great.”
While other details about their nuptials were not shared, she told other guests that it “was at a local courthouse up on Washington State.”

Michael and Anna started dating in 2017 after working on Anna’s film Overboard. The two were first spotted together September that year as they attended a carnival together, just a month after Faris announced her split with ex-husband Chris Pratt.
In an interview with PEOPLE at the time, Anna opened up about how she and Barrett “had an immediate kind of intimacy.” She then explained it to be the way it is due to their similarity as “introverts.”

She also talked about how she and Michael co-parent their children since they have kids from previous relationships. She said about how spending the time with Barrett’s two children has been “awesome” for her and spoke about how she had learned a lot about herself through them, which was very “rewarding” for Anna herself. The star also told the outlet that she and Barrett had a fun time to spend, during the pandemic lockdown, traveling. She said that their blended family spent time bonding during the travel in a camper van.
Many fans saw the engagement ring on Anna’s finger previously, since November of 2019, and kept bugging whether she has been engaged or not. The pair’s engagement was confirmed back in January of 2020.
As Faris’s Mom co-star Allison Janney slipped the news in telling Us Weekly that Faris and Barrett have “been engaged for a long time.” About three months later, she came up to Instagram to show off her ring in a post with actor Jason Biggs, whom she interviewed on her podcast.
