Matthew Alan is a dad again. His wife, Camilla Luddington, the Grey's Anatomy actress welcomed her second child, a baby boy. And they named their little angel, Lucas.
She announced that she became a mother for the second time through an Instagram post on 25 August 2020. She shared a picture with her newly born baby on her Instagram and wrote:
"After what felt like a year-long third trimester… it finally happened!!" Luddington, 36, wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of herself with her newborn in the hospital bed. Matt and I are SOOO happy to announce the birth of our sweet baby BOY, Lucas, otherwise known as my little lion 🦁 (shoutout to Leo's!)."
Choosing their baby's name was more convenient for them. 'Lucas' was the only boy name that Matthew and his actress wife liked.
The lovebirds announced that they were expecting their child back in March 2020. But as per Camilla, she was expecting a boy this time. She mentioned, 'This time, we were also convinced I was having a girl again because my morning sickness was so bad, so we were already thinking of new girls' names,' she said in the interview. 'When we found out we were having a boy, we knew instantly he would be Lucas! His middle name is my husband's [first name], Matthew.'

Matthew Alan and Camilla Luddington are married for a year now. They are longtime lovebirds, who tied their nuptial knot after dating for a sustained period. They shared their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony on 17 August 2019 on the California coastline.

Matthew Alan and his wife Camilla Luddington walked down the aisle in front of their 70 guests. The 'Grey's Anatomy' star mentioned, 'The thing that I always said to Matt is that I just wanted to see the ocean.' She further mentioned:
"That was one thing. We’re just ready to do the damn thing. We kind of already feel married because we have a 2-year-old. But there’s something romantic to us about solidifying that family unit by having the ceremony and actually having Hayden present. To be honest, I’m just excited to get into that new normal of married life."
The bride wore a gown by Mira Zwillinger with handmade embroidery while the groom accompanied her in a grey wedding tuxedo. Since then, the happily married lovebirds are inseparable.
The lovely pair are parents to a couple of children, as of now. They welcomed their first child named Hayden Alan on 11 April 2017, a couple of years before their marriage. They got blessed with their second child in August 2020.
