On 17 May 2021, MLD Entertainment confirmed that Lee Hye-bin and Lee Hyeong Geun, popularly known as Marco, are dating. Speculations about their relationship surfaced online after the idols were spotted wearing matching items, such as couple rings, necklaces, the same padded jacket, and such. In addition, they were at similar places at the same time, according to netizens.
The day before the news broke, Marco had participated in a chat room with some fans and denied the dating rumors. Later on 17 May, Marco posted an apology on his personal Instagram account for making false excuses regarding the relationship rumors.
