Krystal Jung, an American actress, and singer will leave her label SM Entertainment. On 18 August 2020, an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports mentioned that Jung already cut off her ties with the agency, where she was signed for more than a decade. After her departure, it is said that she has been hearing from several companies and also met some companies. However, she has not decided to sign with any agencies, to this date.

Through the company, she appeared on Shinhwa's music video for 'Wedding March.' Later, her sister Jessica Jung first signed the deal with SM Entertainment. With the permission of her parents, Krystal too signed with the talent agency in 2006. After training for three years, she debuted with f(x) as the lead vocalist of the group in 2009 and also appeared in the series of music videos for Melody Project.
