The 80s icon actress, Kristy Swanson, has been hospitalized in New Jersey with COVID-19 as she posted about it on her Twitter am asking for prayers. She revealed on Monday writing, “ Prayers for me, please. Yesterday I took an ambulance ride to the hospital. I’m still here with pneumonia, I'm on oxygen etc, all covid related of course. I'm in good spirits and in great hands.”
“ I was just at the tail end of my Covid diagnosis when it jumped into my lungs. So they are treating me with Baricitinib & blood thinners so I don’t clot. I'm ok.”

Many people were quick to point out her anti-vaccination and anti-mask beliefs after she made that post on her Twitter. However, fellow actors such as Jon Cryer and Alyssa Milano were giving her support and encouragement.
Before her diagnosis, Kristy was very outspoken about her public stands against COVID-19 vaccination on social media and a supporter of former president Donald Trump.
She poured her gratitude to the hospital and staff caring for her in a third tweet writing, “ Virtua Memorial in Mount Holly NJ has been incredible. They are so on top of it and have a wonderful staff.”

The actress had made critical tweets in the past months writing that vaccines mandates were a way of making more money. She wrote, “the virus behaves just like the flu. every year a new flesh strain arises & a new vaccine comes out for it if you want to get one.”
