Selena Gomez confirmed her work with the South Korean girl group, Black Pink, via her Instagram post, where she shared an official picture of the upcoming single poster. She wrote, 'So SO excited to announce @BlackPinkOfficial and I have a new song coming out August 28th! '

The release date of the new single is on 28 August 2020, and it has left the fans over the moon.

The YG Entertainment released a statement regarding the upcoming singles of the stars citing, 'BLACKPINK and Gomez have long been mutual fans and have communed with music.' Also, the agency added, 'BLACKPINK is thankful to Gomez and glad to release the track for its followers.'
