Kelly Osbourne Slams Plastic Surgery Rumors
Kelly Osbourne has got a new look after putting some efforts into herself during the recent lockdown. The transformation caused controversy and speculations among the public about what she has or hasn’t changed about her body.
On 23 May 2021, the 34 years old reality TV star took to her Instagram page to slam the plastic surgery rumors going on around about her. She shared a video message telling her followers, “I just want to bring up a topic that you guys are all talking about because I’m always really honest and really upfront about what I’ve done to my body and who I am. And I’ve not had plastic surgery.”
She continued, “I have never done anything to my face, other than a couple of injections in my lips, in my jaw, and in my forehead here. I do not lie, but thank you for the compliment.”
Kelly captioned the post, writing, “Let’s squash these stupid rumors!!! Can’t you just be happy for me?”
Her plastic surgery speculations started when she posted a new photo of herself with a slim face and neck on her Instagram on 22 May 2021. The photo comes seven months after flaunting her 85-pound weight loss at her birthday party.
Osbourne recently made headlines when she revealed that a “nervous breakdown” during the pandemic lockdown caused her to relapse in her sobriety.
Kelly Osbourne Had A Weight Loss Of 85 Pounds
Kelly Osbourne came up to her Instagram months after her weight loss surgery. On 22 May 2021, Kelly wrote, “Suns out bun out,” along with a striking snap of her with her lavender tinted hair tied into miniature buns.
Osbourne’s fans, shocked with her transformation, speculated that she had some kind of surgery to look like that. And a day later, she took to Instagram slamming those plastic surgery rumors.
In April 2021, Kelly told ExtraTV that she was delighted to have a positive transformation for herself. She explained further, her weight loss was to have a “body to match the mind” and live a long healthy life. Admitting to often dive into some self-destructive herself, she said that she’s not letting the sobriety, which took four years of relapsing for her to take over her impressive progress.
Kelly’s weight loss new surfaced with a surprise to the public on her 36th birthday in 2020. She boasted her physical transformation with 85 lbs weight loss while celebrating her birthday.

Osbourne started her weight loss journey in early 2020, which she told her Instagram followers back in December 2019. She made most of her quarantining session a time for her to do some hard work to have a physical transformation and a lifestyle change.
And by the first two weeks of quarantine, she revealed she had already lost seven pounds and had more energy than ever. “I went into actions rather than sitting here in fear,” said Kelly, referring to how she stayed motivated. Then she had her every action planned with proper eating and doing some exercise to have a complete makeover of her physical appearance, eventually losing 85-pounds.
Osbourne opened about her “gastric sleeve” weight loss surgery in an interview on the Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn in August 2020. “I don’t give a f—k what anyone has to say. I did it. I’m proud of it, they can suck s—t,” she said. “I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never, ever, ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.”
She added, “I want to be very clear about this kind of surgery I had. I didn’t have a gastric bypass. The kind of surgery I had… if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction.” She also spoke about going to therapy for a year to tackle her emotional eating tendencies before going in for surgery and adopting healthy eating and exercise habits.
This isn’t the first time Kelly’s publicly talked about her weight. Back in 2009, when she dropped 40 pounds after appearing on the Dancing With The Stars, thanks to a combination of her dance rehearsals and switching to a plant-based diet. In 2012, she became vegan with the help of her then-boyfriend, who was a vegan chef, according to the Daily Express. In 2013, she talked with HuffPost about how her new diet was slowly changing into more of a lifestyle change for her.
She once spoke to Us Weekly magazine, saying, “I got sober. I replaced drugs and alcohol with food, my body metabolized differently. Once I got sober and I gained weight uncontrollably, it was insane.” She continued that people around her suggested to “do the surgery,” which she didn’t agree to but later had a fighting chance against the continuous weight gain by doing so. But she didn’t follow her doctor’s directions after her operations and therefore stopped seeing results at that time.
Nevertheless, now she had had a dramatic change over the quarantine in 2020, and the results can be seen after she followed certain plans for herself.

In 2011, Kelly reportedly had flings with Rob Damiani and Quincy Combs, but some sources and media claimed the facts that settled down with time. Kelly was also in a brief relationship with her close friend, Anton Lombardi, after they were seen holding hands in May 2011.
In 2011, Kelly met the vegan chef, Matthew Mosshart, at Kate Moss’s wedding, and they immediately hit off together. After two years of dating, they got engaged but called it quits by 2014 with a mutual decision. They remained “really good friends” even after their split. She also had a short-lived romance with Ricky Hall in 2014, six months after her split with Matthews.
Kelly was also reported to be dating Kes Glozier in 2016, however not seeing them hanging out together anymore, it is safe to say that they quietly broke things off. She started dating model Jimmy Q early in 2019, but unfortunately, this romance didn’t last.

By now, it is clear that Kelly Osbourne comes from the famous Osbourne family. But how much do we know about her family, let’s go through it briefly?
Kelly is part of a blended family. She is known for being the daughter of legendary musician Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, music manager Sharon Osbourne. She also has siblings Jack and Aimee Osbourne.
Her younger brother, Jack Osbourne, is now a fitness and travel reporter who started off his career in music, as his mother and father before him. Her older sister, Aimee Osbourne, is pursued acting when she was younger.
In 2003, she appeared in Wuthering Heights. In 2010, she started making music under the name ARO (her initials) and formed a band. However, unlike Jack and Kelly, she declined to appear on The Osbourne show for fear it would affect her music career.
Other than her two siblings, Kelly also has two half-siblings; Louis John Osbourne and Jessica Hobbs – from Ozzy’s first marriage with Thelma Riley.
On Kelly’s recent appearance in May 2021 on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert, she made a shocking revelation that she and her sister Aimee have not spoken for years due to an inability to “understand” each other. The sisters were reported to have fallen out back in 2014, with Kelly seemingly confirming the news on the podcast. When asked about why they were estranged, Kelly said: “We’re just really different. She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her.”
Though her biggest issue was addiction, the star also once got into trouble with the law after allegedly assaulting a columnist. The issue at hand later settled down.
Nevertheless, Kelly now seems to have gone over it all. Having a physical transformation, opening up to the public clearly about her opinions and such, she has become an admirable woman who is overcoming her past issues solving one by one.
