American music producer Keith Olsen is dead, GlamourBiz has learned.

Keith, who was a globally acclaimed music producer working with the classic rock as well as heavy metal bands including Ozzy Osbourne, Fleetwood Mac, Grateful Dead, Santana, Heart, Joe Walsh, Scorpions, and many others passed away on 9 March 2020.

The Polish rock band Scorpions confirmed the death of Keith as they shared heartfelt condolence on their official Facebook page and Twitter. Keith was a producer behind Scorpions' music credits like Crazy World (album), Wind of Change, and Send Me Angel.

Through the same post, the Scorpions referred to late Keith Olsen as a 'wonderful guy' who will live on in the music.

Besides Scorpions, many other notable artists, including Rick Springfield, paid tribute to Keith's work in the music industry and prayed for his family through social media platforms.

As a matter of fact, Keith's cause of death is unknown, and so is his age.

Keith Olsen And His Music Career

Keith Olsen was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in the United States and studied in Minneapolis. He initiated his musical appreciation to the classical, jazz, pop, and rock since his academic years. 

Subsequently, he started working in the recording studios in Minneapolis and also played bass for the band named Music Machine. Later, he got acquainted with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, who taught him to envision everything about production.

He moved to Los Angeles and started launching the careers of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. With his help, Stevie and Lindsey released their album entitled, Buckingham Nicks. After Mick Fleetwood joined the band, he produced Fleetwood Mac's eponymous 1975 album, which reached number 1 in the United States.

In the course of three decades in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Keith went on to produce the music careers of Reo Speedwagon, Ozzy Osbourne, Bad Company, EUROPE, Sammy Hagar, Journey, and many other bands and artists. With his career, he also received 39 gold, 24 platinum, and 14 multi-platinum album certifications on 125 albums. Besides, he is a recipient of 6 Grammy Awards.
