Kaitlyn Bristowe was born on 19 June 1985 in Leduc, Canada as Kaitlyn Dawn Bristowe to parents Leslie Hipkin and Mike Bristowe. She has a sister named Haley. She inherited her ballerina skills from her mother then got a dance scholarship and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia when she was older; And later became a spin-class instructor.

Bristowe later posted the engagement photos of the couple embracing each other while Tartick kissed Bristowe’s head and other lovely moments as she also showed off the beautiful engagement ring, on Instagram on 12 May 2021, captioning, “Don’t pinch me.”
