One day after Justin's 18th birthday (November 16, 2020), the couple announced their engagement. In a joint video statement about their engagement, they said:

On February 26, 2021, Justin and Claire hitched together at The Orchard Event Venue and Retreat in Azle, Texas, in the presence of their family and friends.

On the wedding day, Spivey was dressed in a white, short-sleeved wedding dress, whereas Justin looked dapper in a navy suit with a grey tie. Claire styled her hair in a side braid adorned with flowers.
