American television writer and former radio personality John Melendez is known for his celebrity interviews for radio's The Howard Stern Show. He is an American personality, comedian, actor, television writer, announcer, and podcast host.

John Melendez high school is not a positive one. Due to his stuttering, his friend bullied and mocked him. Later, John joined film school at New York University and formed a band.

He started his career with 'The Howard Stern Show' while he was tasked with listening and answering calls before it was allowed to air. In 2001, A.J. Benza slapped him during a live segment. From that moment, Benza was banned from the show.

After a few years, John Melendez rose to fame to interview celebrities on the red carpet, where he asked questions ridiculously. He has interviewed Ally Sheedy, Ted Williams, Gennifer Flowers, Ringo Starr, and the Dalai Lama.

John Melendez was married for 15 years to Suzanna Keller, an actress and producer. They were married in 1997 and had a divorce in 2012.
