Joey Chestnut is a beast, and he eats like a giant. Just imagine how a man can eat 75 hot dogs and buns in only 10 minutes. But Joey Chestnut did it and its not a surprising thing for us because we mentioned before, he eats like a giant.

Well, there's a reason to eat more, and that's not for passion. Chestnut set a hot dog record after he ate such a massive amount of hot dogs and buns on 4 July 2020 and also won the Mustard Yellow Belt at Nathan's Famous Hot Dog-Eating Contest. It's his thirteenth title in fourteen years. He topped his record of 74 hot dogs that he set in 2018.

And, mathematically based on nutrition, Chestnut ate around 21,750 calories. He mentioned:

"It was hard. I knew I was fast in the beginning. It was like blistering speed. And the dogs were cooked really well today. Minute six is where I really missed the crowd ... and I hit a wall, and it took me a little bit more work to get through it. This is a crazy year, and I'm happy I was able to get a record."

Joey Chestnut also bagged the prize money of $10,000 as a winner.

The Nathan's Famous Hot Dog-Eating Contest came back to life under several circumstances due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. The event was organized indoor with COVID-19 safety measures, unlike the previous edition of tournaments.

Previously, altogether fifteen competitors used to compete at a time, and it was reduced to five this year.

Similarly, he set the record of eating 4.375 Three-Pound Apple Pies in 8 minutes, 5.9 lbs Kings Dominion in 10 minutes, 390 shrimp wontons in 8 minutes, 81 Waffles in 8 minutes, and 185 Catalina croquetas in 8 minutes.
