The Prom star, Jo Ellen Pellman, opened the fact about how she recently built a relationship with the Late Late Show With James Corden host. They were co-stars on the set of Ryan Murphy's The Prom.
Jo Ellen Pellman starred as Emma Nolan, while James Corden brought the character, Barry Glickman, to life.
Speaking about her relationship with the Late Late Show host, Pellman mentioned that she thought she and James had a rapport, which feels like they have been friends for ages.
She further mentioned:
"I will always remember just the kind of person James is. We were shooting the finale number and it was a long day. My grandma had just gone into the hospital and she’s a big fan of James and his show. I asked him if he would FaceTime her with me and without hesitation he was like ‘Of course!’ And he made my grandma’s day, and that’s who James is. He will go out of his way to make someone’s day a little brighter and I’m so glad that I can call him a friend."
Pellman further said that James Corden is sweet as he seems on television. As per her words, Corden apparently went above and beyond to make her and her costar, Ariana DeBos, comfortable while they shot The Prom among other high-profile stars.
Moreover, she mentioned that Corden face-timed her grandmother at one particular time when she was sick in the hospital.

Nevertheless, the actress believes that their relationship is a centerpiece of Ryan Murphy's The Prom, released on 11 December 2020.
