The happy occasion was shared by the bride-to-be via her Instagram account on 12 August 2021, captioning, “Dear Diary, A month ago, Jimmy asked me to marry him in the most intimate and personal way. I said yes! Love, Kortnie,” while she showcased her new engagement ring on the picture attached to the post.
She flashed her engagement ring, which according to the CEO of The Diamond Pro, Mike Fried, seems to be of “at least 6 or 7 carats” that amounts at least “near a quarter of a million dollars, depending on the quality of the stone.” Really, if we have to say, that’s quite the expensive one for only an engagement ring.
Though we have yet to hear from the proposer himself, there is no doubt about the beautiful love in their romance for each other. Jim, back in early 2021, posted an adorable and poetic message dedicated to his wife-to-be that presented such heartwarming words of love for her. The message read every little laugh and smile Jim got after Kortnie entered in his life and all other lovely things whilst still together. He added that for all the things she had done, he has begun to “believe in himself again” and also thanked her as well.
Meanwhile, their first meeting was reported to be quite the amusing one. As per several outlets like Page Six and Pop Culture, the now-engaged couple met when they had a threesome with Jim’s now ex-wife Meghan King. And after Jim’s tumultuous divorce with Meghan, he moved on to date Kortnie.

As per the aforementioned information, Jim Edmonds was previously married to the former Real Housewives of Orange County’s star Meghan King. The former couple tied the knot on 24 October 2014 in St. Louis.

The duo faced many ups and downs whilst in their marriage. Meghan had to go through the struggle for conceiving and finally announced her pregnancy after doing IVF in 2016. They welcomed their healthy baby girl named Aspen King Edmonds on 24 November that same year. A year later, the couple was then blessed with the pregnancy of twin kids, Hayes and Hart, to whom King gave birth in June 2018.
Whilst they did not show any other hardships in their marriage, they were seemingly facing some strains in their relationship. And it especially got pretty serious when King found out that Edmonds had been cheating on her even while she was pregnant with twins. Edmonds allegedly was sexting with women other than King while they were still married and such.
