The recent episode of Cocktails with Queens was emotional. LisaRaye McCoy, who celebrated her 53rd birthday on-air, took over six minutes to shade her tears regarding the fact that her rapper sister, DaBrat, surprised her at the ceremony. DaBrat mentioned she expected that LisaRaye would turn on her as the duo of sisters were not in contact long before the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
LisaRaye McCoy mentioned that she was 'hurt' by how her sister virtually ignored her for months, but she praised DaBrat for coming out as a bisexual. DaBrat opened up about her sexuality by confirming her relationship with her girlfriend, Jesseca Dupart. McCoy mentioned:
"Happy for you. I am glad that you are living in your truth. … For you to be so happy and so vibrant, that is a blessing. I appreciate you coming out and verbally saying happy birthday to me in this kind of way, because I (expletive) sho’ ain’t heard from you in months."
However, Jesseca Dupart appeared as she did not like what the actress said about her birthday. She shaded LisaRaye McCoy through a since-deleted Instagram post by sharing the picture of herself with the actress' sister, DaBrat.
Jesseca wrote, 'MOOD !! Nah what was said…' Many fans quickly knew that the timing of her post was not coincidental and it was directed to LisaRaye McCoy.
