Jason Oppenheim Had Trouble With His Twin Brother Brett

Jason Oppenheim once opened up about his troubled childhood with his twin brother Brett during an interview with DailyMailTV in October 2020. The twin brothers were raised by their single mother, Deborah, in Fremont, Northern California. His father was a Vietnam vet.

Talking about himself, he described his teenage self as “frustrated, aggressive, and trouble-making,” one as he himself would usually get out of control over some matter and get into fights in the bars and other public places and eventually end up in the hands of cops or behind bars.

Jason also revealed that he would often get into fights with Brett as they often found themselves in “bad circumstances.” He added,

“We went to seven different high schools and boarding schools, and were either expelled or suspended from five of them.”

Due to the twins’ rampage, their mother tricked them into going to a teen correctional camp when they were 13. They lived in such a harsh environment during their time there, but it didn’t impact them on changing their behaviors until their father got involved.

Jason said,

“We’d always been pretty well behaved when we were with our dad because he would whoop our a**. He was a Vietnam war veteran who did two tours and was a very strict disciplinarian. And I was always scared of him.”

And the twins eventually got back on track with their behavior, slowly being a better person in a society enjoying a better career in the real estate industry.
