Netflix's 'On My Block' is a coming-of-age story based on bright and street-savvy friends. The television series plots the story of four characters navigating through high school in the gritty inner city of South Central Los Angeles. The four characters are Monse Finnie portrayed by Sierra Capri, Ruby Martinex by Jason Genao, Jamal Turner by Brett Gray, and Cesar Diaz by Diego Tinoco.
On My Block first premiered its first season in 2018 and brought back the second season in 2019. Similarly, Netflix followed with the third season of the television series in 2019.
There are several talks of On My Block to be renewed in the fourth season. However, there are no official announcements when Netflix brings back the awaited season.

Jason Genao first landed his role as Jayson Genao (FBI Agent) in the 2015's movie Ladrones. After a year, he followed up with a role of William Reeves in the 2016's television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Jason is engaged in the Campaign called Writing Seek, which is a part of dosomething.org. It helps the younger people to drive safely, and it aware people buckle up in the vehicles, whether someone is the rider of the passenger.
It all came as a result of Genao's car accident in 2017, which he describes as 'traumatizing.'
