The daughter of Floyd Mayweather, former pro-boxer and boxing promoter, has been arrested for the aggravated assault on 4 April 2020. As per the Harris County Constable's Office, Floyd's daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, an aspiring singer and social media celebrity got charged with a second-degree felony as well as accused of assault with a deadly weapon.
As per the court documents, Iyanna, her (ex) boyfriend NBA Youngboy, and a girl named Lapattra Lashai Jacobs mashed up into a verbal altercation, which resulted in physical violence and prisoning of Iyanna. Iyanna was taken to jail after she was allegedly involved in stabbing and assaulting a 25-year-old woman Lapattra, who is NBA's fiancee. She is now undergoing surgery for non-life threatening. Reports also show that Lapattra is a baby mama of NBA Youngboy, Iyanna's ex-boyfriend.
Concerning the incident, authorities have revealed that a knife was recovered from the scene.
Despite that, Iyanna has already been released from jail in lieu of $30,000. However, her court date is scheduled for 6 April 2020.
