Helen George Is Pregnant With Her Second Child
Helen George has announced she is expecting her second child with her Call The Midwife co-star, Jack Ashton.

She wrote alongside the post: “Baking number 2. Due in December.”

Helen George Is Dating Jack Ashton
Helen George has been dating Jack Ashton since 2016 after filming the Call the Midwife Christmas Special in South Africa. They welcomed their daughter, Wren Ivy, together in September 2017.

The actress back then opted to keep her romance with Jack private, particularly when she became pregnant. “I helped to have Terri Coates, our midwifery advisor, on set. There were a couple of times when I was like, ‘Is this right? Is this normal?’” she shared during a candid chat with Daily Mail’s YOU magazine.
Nonetheless, their love blossomed well off-screen, and now they live together with their daughter Wren Ivy in the East End.
However, it was quite a predicament for the cast teams in the show Call the Midwife to hide Helen’s baby daughter Wren’s bump. At a screening in London, George explained: “I was pregnant in the series, so you just kind of see me walk across the screen sometimes with odd fashions, or I’d sit down a lot, or I’m wearing lots of capes.”
She further said that it would be odd for her character in the drama to be pregnant, so they did the best they could to cover it up. Her co-stars from the show also helped cover her seven-month baby bump.
But she was diagnosed with ICP during her pregnancy with Wren. Due to this complication, the star then later delivered her little girl six weeks before her due date.
Back in 2018, the actress took to her Instagram page to share a series of pictures from her daughter Wren’s 1st birthday celebration. “0-1 in the blink of an eye. Wren, you’re a wonder,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
Prior to her relationship with Jack, she was married to actor Oliver Boot from 2011 to 2015. The pair have kept their reasons for the split under the radar and haven’t spoken about it publicly.
