It has come to an acknowledgment that Funke Akindele, a Nigerian actress, who has been fronting Nigeria's 'stay home' campaign with her husband during the health crisis due to novel Coronavirus, has bolted off the action by herself. And, eventually, she paid off for stepping out of the legal boundaries.

The Lagos State Police Command arrested her from her home after she threw a birthday party for her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello, and violating the lockdown regulations. The lockdown is set for stopping the spread of Coronavirus all around the world, and Funke comes out as a lawbreaker when she is herself a promoter of the 'stay home' campaign.

Funke, as a campaign promoter, has appeared in the ads endorsed by both Dettol and the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), who made an immediate response towards her arrest on 6 April 2020. Dettol Nigeria tweeted a statement on their feed concerning the incident.

"It does not condone any breach of the guidelines on COVID-19.”

Similarly, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) quoted Dettol Nigeria's tweet and mentioned that it has not taken any steps against Coronavirus but has made aware all Nigerians to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of this novel health issue.

Funke, age 43, and her husband were pleaded guilty, citing them 'irresponsible' and 'danger to the public.' They got a sentence of 14-days of community service and a fine of N100,000 each. Similarly, their guests (of a birthday party), including Babstunde Abadamosi, the ActionDemicratic Party (ADP) governorship candidate in the 2019 election, too, spent the night at the prison for attending the birthday party.

Funke And Abdul Are Married For Nearly Four Years

Funke Akindele and her husband Abdul Rasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz, are in their marital tie for nearly four years. JJC Skillz admitted that he first approached Funke back in 2012 when he had dreamed of marrying her. Eventually, his dream came true, and they tied their nuptial knot after four years in 2016.

The love life of Funke and JJC (Abdul) first came to media with speculations of dating in January 2016 as they were seen together in London. Later, they made their appearance at Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in March 2016, igniting the rumors of their dating life.

In April 2016, Funke, finally, confirmed her relationship with JJC Skillz and also mentioned that she does not like talking about her personal life in public. In less than three months, Funke and JJC Skillz got committed with an engagement ring to share their wedding vows soon.

After a month of their engagement, Funke walked down the aisle with the love of her life, Abdul Rasheed Bello, on 23 August 2016 in a secret wedding ceremony. Her husband, JJC Skillz, is a talented musician, singer, and producer.

Funke and JJC Skillz are parents of five children. They welcomed their twin kids back on 22 December 2018, which they confirmed in an interview with punchng.com.

Funke Was Married Before

Funke Akindele's married life with JJC Skillz, aka Abdul Rasheed Bello, is, however, not her first marital tie. She was previously married to Kehinde Oloyedeon 26 May 2012.

Funke and Kehinde gave their relationship a smooth shape for a year after they got into the bond. However, they divorced in the following year in 2013.

Funke later came with an announcement that she did enjoy the first two months after marriage with Kehinde, and rest was the time of suffering. Funke revealed that she was the victim of violence at the time.

She wrote:

"I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I felt we could work things out when the trouble started two months after the marriage, but I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at him when the trouble was coming to me too much."

After four years of separation with Kehinde, she married her current husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz.
