Erin Hamilton's mother, Carol Burnett, has not to trust in her after all she is a drug addict. Well, trusting issues on her family have led the scene to the height. Carol Burnett asked the judge to grant the temporary guardianship of her 13-year-old grandson, citing that the teen's mother, Erin Hamilton, has been through substance abuse. Erin also has threatened to commit suicide.

Erin Hamilton's action fears Carol Burnett, and she believes Hamilton cannot take the proper care of her thirteen years old son Dylan due to the same issues. As per the 87-year-old actress, her family had to call on Los Angeles Police Department officials to go through the medical check on Erin Hamilton in July 2020, but she recently threatened to take her own life.

As per the documents filed by Carol Burnett, Hamilton is not caring for her children while her husband, who checked himself into rehab, is unable to take his son positively. Burnett wrote;

"Dylan's living environment has long been unstable, unpredictable, and unhealthy for a child. This culminated in a Department of Children and Family Services investigation and juvenile dependency proceedings in 2018 and 2019."

Burnett further mentioned that she had already enrolled Dylan in a Boarding school. She added, 'Proposed Co-Guardians have always had a close relationship with Dylan, and they have financially supported him for the entirety of his life. This financial support includes providing for his medical insurance, dental insurance, educational needs, as well as his basic living and housing expenses.'
