In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, on June 2021, she said of discovering that she was pregnant was “totally like in the movies.” She said she found out that she was pregnant “pretty early,” and since she was “just not feeling quite like myself,” she decided to take a pregnancy test.
After receiving a positive result from her at-home pregnancy test, the model said, “I ran to CVS and bought 20 different kinds of pregnancy tests, and I took all of them. I was like, ‘Okay, I really, really am pregnant.’” Emily was so excited about it that she said she “blurted out when” Kyle walked through the door.
After a while, she took the news to her Instagram page with a video documenting the moment that she found out. First, she showed up her pregnancy test results, revealing the baby’s sonogram and showing off her growing baby bump in a bikini and a dress. The video also included a clip of Emily FaceTiming her mother, Frances, who reacted with shock and joy after hearing that her daughter was pregnant.
Near the end of the video, the doctor told the couple that they were having a girl. Their daughter is now due in December 2021.

In an intimate ceremony, Emily DiDonato tied the knot with financier Kyle Peterson on 23 June 2018 in Beaver Creek, Colorado.
