The news of Emily Arlook leaving Grown-ish is emerging in recent times. The audiences were left with the questions regarding whether she would return to the show, or is it her farewell.

TV Actress Emily, who plays Nomi in the American sitcom series, Grown-ish, was seen as a pregnant woman, who was trying to decide whether to keep or not her unborn child or give it for adoption in the 13 February 2020 'Gut Feeling' episode. The episode also showed her struggling with the facts whether to tell her 'one-night stand' that he is the baby father.

Despite all that, Zoey (her costar) privately said that she should make her own choices regarding her unborn child. However, Nomi stated;

"I'm not going to be able to think about it here, not clearly anyway. I think I need to go home. Is that like the coward's way out?"

Zoey, age 30, later admitted that Nomi choosing to move with her parents was a 'brave decision.'

Nomi packed all her gears and went airport, where she tearfully said goodbye to Vivek, Ana, Aaron, Jazz, Sky, and Luca. Despite the storyline of the American sitcom, Grown-ish, she found that the circumstances that she is facing are relatable to over 4 million student parents, especially women (about 70%) in 2019.
