Lebanese Fashion designer Elie Saab had taken a two-year halt due to the Beirut port blast and Covid-19 but he has made his return to the runway in Paris last night showcasing his vibrant spring/summer 22 couture show which was inspired by the Mediterranean.
The fashion designer Elie's offices and home were badly damaged in the explosion of August 2020 but the designer being resilient said, "I felt my clients are looking for a release, they want things that are flashy, with colors, lively things - - I see that this period has affected a lot of people."
So, the Lebanese designer bloomed his SS22 collection with the sea, sun, and bougainvillea-hued satin, taffeta, and tulle having his firm focus on Joy. His comeback show was welcomed with a full feather-skirted Fuschia gown and it ended with an outlandishly glamorous feathered shimmering bridal look that was completed with a matching veil and cast train of the kind Sabb's Middle Eastern clients' clamor for.
The designer experimented with some dresses with micro-minis and mushrooming embellished organza skirts and dresses with inbuilt crystal-covered gloves. He also made Red carpet-ready power looks with Fuschia, violet, and chartreuse taffeta gowns that exploded dramatic off-shoulder rose petals and peony bouquets.
The Lebanese fashion designer Saab is back again with his hands ready to help couture clients with weddings, parties, and holidays.
