We are talking about the Supergirl star, Chyler Leigh, who spoke for the very first time about her sexuality. On the official website of Creating Change, she published an article explaining how coming out the story of her Supergirl character Alex Danvers supported her in level with her sexuality.
She wrote:
"When I was told that my character was to come out in season 2, a flurry of thoughts and emotions flew through and around me because of the responsibility I personally felt to authentically represent Alex's journey. What I didn't realize was how the scene where she finally confessed her truth would leap off the pages of the script and genuinely become a variation of my own. IRL. My heartfelt like it was going to beat out of my chest each take we filmed, every time presenting another opportunity to get those honest words out of my mouth."
However, Chyler did lose supports from her friends and family members. But that did not become a barrier for her to discover the real character of herself. No matter where they went through but she and her husband are always proud of themselves, said Chyler.
Chyler also included Alex (Supergirl Character) coming out a scene from the sixth episode of the second season and titled it Çhanging. In a way, she connected the things that happened in the on-screen portrayals that helped her to explore herself.

Chyler Leigh is married to an American actor Nathan West, known for his acting credits like The Practice (1998), Bring It On (2000), Bones (2009), Grey's Anatomy (2009), and many others.
The scene of Nathan proposing her was filmed as an Easter Egg in the Not Another Teen Movie. However, it was removed from the movie DVD back in the year.

Chyler and Nathan exchanged their wedding vows on July 20, 2002, and have been enjoying their romantic excursions for eighteen years. Chyler, who was listed in 102 Sexiest Women in the World in 2002, also shares three children with her longterm husband, Nathan West.
She gave birth to her first child Noah Wilde in December 2003. Similarly, she welcomed two kids, namely, Taelyn Leigh and Anniston Kae, in September 2006 and on May 7, 2009, respectively.
