The former Bachelor In Paradise alum Brittany Hockley revealed the real reason behind her post-show breakup with costar ex-boyfriend Tim Hanly. On 4 August 2020, Hockley spoke to the podcast 'The Uncut' and mentioned that she was 'gobsmacked' for the changing behavior of Tim Hanly. She stated that Hanly had a dramatic change after filming the reality series.
She said, '(He) in no way wanted to be in a relationship with anyone.'
They left the show after their split, after which they met only once. And it clearly shows the tumultuous scenes in their relationship. As per Hockley, the ex-lovebirds argued for five days while Hanly did not come home one night. She told:
"He just didn't come home one night. I didn't know where he was. He didn't contact me. The next day we just had this really big argument."
She told the co-host of the podcast, Laura Bryne that Hanly was a different person outside the reality series, Bachelor In Paradise. 'I was so gobsmacked at the person he became the second we walked out of those doors. It was like I was talking to a different person,' she added.

Even after that, the couple did not come in contact. Brittany Hockley mentioned that she heard from the tattooed reality star until the show started. However, he apologized to her and said that he never wanted to hurt her.
But the pardon aside, Tim Hanly announced that he got reconciled with his ex-girlfriend Briana De La Motte after he left the Paradise. And for now, Brittany Hockler is single with no rains of love on her.
The 32-year-old Australian reality star previously had an issue with her fellow cast of The Bachelor and former-boyfriend, Nick Cummins, back in 2019. At the time, she mentioned that Cummins, who is also known as 'The Honey Badger,' continued to message her after filming the reality series. After the incident, she stated that Cummin's message gave her false hope.
