The couple after their supposedly surprise marriage have made some frequent appearances during quick dates and award ceremonies.
Brendan is a New York police officer assigned to the South Midtown Precinct near Times Square, from which he went on an “authorized leave of absence” in July 2019, as reported by PEOPLE.

Among his parents; James McLoughlin and Inova Valerio McLoughlin, three children, Brendan is the youngest. The police officer has two elder siblings named; Patrick and Jocelyn.
Regarding his educational background, he graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School in 2009. During his schooling years, he was a very active athlete, as he went on to run track and participate in the indoor track and field state championships in 2008 in hurdles and pole vault.
The police officer stands at the height of 1.8 m. He has a decent weight with an athletic build.

Brendan is happily married to his singer wife Miranda Lambert.
Their nuptials came as a surprise among the public with a sudden announcement from Miranda via her Instagram account, back in 2019’s Valentine’s Day, captioning,
"In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for… me. #theone,” along with some photos of the couple during their wedding ceremony."
The couple first linked on 2 November 2018, when Miranda was performing on Good Morning America with her band, The Pistol Annies, whilst Brendan was present on the set of the show at the time “doing a security” job. However, it didn’t give a quick start to their relationship until Miranda’s band-mates became the wing-women for their romance as they invited Brendan to their show behind Miranda’s back. Well, after that, you guessed it right, the pair hit it off well together eventually tying the knot three months later, in 26 January 2019 in Davidson County, Tennessee while only revealing it in the third week of February 2019.
Brendan has a 2-year-old son from his former relationship with ex, Kaihla Rettinger, whom he had just a few days after his first meeting with Miranda. However, now he parents his son with his new wife, Miranda, being the stepmom for him.
Miranda opened up about her adorable stepson during an interview with Extra in June 2019, saying,
“My stepson is amazing. I’m loving that whole phase, and I’ve raised a million dogs, so I feel like I’ve got that part of my womanly/motherly thing is full, so this is a whole new journey. It’s great.”
The wedded pair after their nuptials shares their time between New York and Nashville. Brendan and Miranda initially decided on keeping their marriage a secret from the public since Miranda was already a victim to media scrutiny from her previous relationship which was open to the public including her marriage and divorce.

Brendan was reportedly set to be married to his fiancé at the time, and a fellow New York native named, Jackie Bruno, to whom he purposed with a 1.21-carat diamond ring, set in an 18-carat white gold band, which were worth approximately $15k, as per PEOPLE. However, the engagement broke off, when Kaihla Rettinger messaged Brendan’s former fiancé that she is seven months pregnant with the baby boy of her fiancée. The couple celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary earlier this year. The singer took to Instagram to mark the happy occasion along with a snap of the two, captioning,
