Barbie Hsu has announced her second marriage with South Korean musician Koo Jun-Yup via her social media on Tuesday, 8 March The news of her second marriage surprised her fans as she had just divorced her ex-husband, Chinese restaurateur Wang Xiaofei on November 22 last year. She was with her ex-husband for over two decades so their diovrce was really shocking to all her fans and audiences.
Barbie's second marriage is with her former boyfriend, Koo Jun Yup. Koo had talked about his relationship with Barbie in 2010 stating that they had once dated for almost a year when he was in the South Korean dance music duo, Clon in 1998. He shared that the Chinese actress, Barbie was the one who made the first move and they went on secret dates due to his peak popularity at the time.
Koo also announced his marriage with Barbie Hsu on social media and shared that he made the first move this time and shared that he proposed to Hsu after feeling they had alredy wasted too much time apart. He said that he dug up her phone number and contacted her upon hearing her divorce. He added that they were bounded by fate and their relationship from 20 years ago.
Barbie Hsu confirmed about her second mariage and wrote, "Life is unpredictable, and I treasure my happiness at this moment. I am grateful that I now have what I have." Their marriage was also confirmed by Hsu's agent to CNA on Tuesday. They had their marriage registered in South Korea.

Wang was also spotted spending vacation together with his rumored girlfriend and his mom, Zhang Lan in Sanya. However, his mother, Zhang Lan denied those reports and claimed that they were not so immortal and dirty.

Barbie had accused her ex-husband of cheating on her with social media influencer and actress Zhang YingYing before their divorce. However, Wang had denied those rumors and issued a statement via his lawyer stressing that he had never done any of those things.
She ended her marriage with Wang Xiaofei in November 2021 and they released a statement through their attorney that said they dissolved their mariage peacefully and asked for more personal space. The statement also clarified on continuing to raise their children together.
