Ashley Judd has been able to walk again after recovering a little from her shattered leg in four places during a February hiking accident. She kept on updating the fans about her injury with the documentation via her social media account.

She wrote on an Instagram post along with a series of pictures and video clips :

“Dear Friends. It is with reverence and quiet awe I offer this update. Today, five months and three weeks after the accident in the Congolese rainforest, I walked again, and in what fashion! I hiked in the #SwissNationalPark,”

She further explained her journey of walking again while showing the progress in her post as she said of being able to use her “leg and foot” very “beautifully” again. She continued

“The next day, I walked again on a high Alp in #Ticino, working hard and feeling how much stamina I have to rebuild. This is the road ahead. But I am up to the daily tasks, as I am even carrying firewood into our Alpine hut!”

Then she presented her gratitude to the medical team and people involved with her recovery process for their support.

Back in February, Ashley tripped while on a trip in the Congo rainforest. Since then, she had been documenting her injury updates via several social media posts through her account. The injury was quite serious, that she and her medical team were afraid if she could ever walk again, but it seems that the predicament has passed since Judd has been able to walk again.
