Genea, a Texas-stripper, fell off 15-feet from pole in Texas on 10 February 2020 but did not stop dancing. The fall from pole left her with a broken jaw and broken teeth with a sprained ankle, after which she requested the donations for the surgery via the GoFundMe website.
She successfully had surgery. However, she discovered the mischevious people trying to make out profits from her situations, and it appears that there are several GoFundMe accounts for collecting the donations for her surgery, which might be a fake one. She came against those who were trying to make a profit from her misfortunes.
Concerning the fraud issues, she wrote on her Instagram:
"I never forced anyone to donate money and help me in my time of need, but I take it very seriously that people still went outta their way to do so and I’m NOT okay with people trying to be fraudulent, especially with MY NAME, and take advantage of people’s kindness. You don’t have to donate to mine, but PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE FAKE PAGES. This is my ONE & ONLY Instagram and my Twitter has the same name."
She also asked her fans to stand up against the hoax. She encouraged her fans via Instagram to report the fake pages and even asked for their pardon if those counterfeit actions have misled them.
How Much Worth Did GoFundMe Collect?
Genea Sky's GoFundMe targeted to collect the fund of $20,000, and to this date, it has gained over $35,000. Similarly, more than 1500 people have donated, and the page has been shared for over 10,000 times.
Genea created the page on 10 February 2020 which cited:
“Her job does not cover the expenses of her medical bills. Since she sustained such serious injuries, she will be out of work for an extended period of time. Any donations towards her surgeries would be helpful and appreciated! Thank you all in advance."
As per the page, she will not be working for an extended period due to the injury.

Similarly, she has been updating her health on Instagram frequently. Through an Instagram post, she expressed that she got surprised when she found many people stood with her during the hardships.
