The Russian professional dancer Artem Chigvinstev has announced that he is stepping away from the Dancing with the Stars Tour due to unexpected health issues via his Instagram. Artem has competed in the reality dance competition program, Strictly Come dancing, from 2010 to 2014.
He posted a statement regarding his departure from The DWTS Tour on his Instagram, writing, "My time on tour so far has been wonderful - unfortunately, I am having to step away from the tour for a while, due to some unexpected health issues. My goal is to recover as quickly as possible so I can rejoin my cast and crew on this incredible tour."
He concluded his statement by thanking his fans, saying, "Thank you for your patience and understanding. See you soon, Artem." After the post was uploaded, his comments were filled with supportive messages from his fiancee, Niki Bella, and his fellow DWTS colleagues, along with his well-wishers. His fiancee, Niki left a red heart emoji, and dancer Gleb Savchenko wrote, "Please feel better, we all miss you so much and wishing you a speed recovery."
Similarly, Pasha Pashov commented, "Rest up and get better soon man" and Carrie Ann Inaba wrote, "I hope you feel better soon Artem."
The DWTS Tour started on 7 January 2022 in Richmond, Virginia, and is set to end on 27 March in Modesto, California. The Russian professional dancer Artem has been paired with a variety of celebrities since he joined Dancing With The Stars in 2014. His celebrities partners include Lea Thompson and Patti LaBelle to Mischa Barton and his fiancee, WWE wrestler Niki Bella.
A representative for Dancing With The Stars also released an official statement via PEOPLE and said that they are continuing the tour as planned with their amazing casts and said, "We wish Artem a speedy recovery and look forward to having him back in the show in the very near future."
Artem has been on tour with Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe with whom he won in Season 29 and was joined by celebrity champion Iman Shumpert and contestants Jimmie Allen and Amanda Kloots.
