Amanda has shown some glimpse of the Owen family, who live in a farmhouse on Raveseat farm, which sits on a 2,000-acre plot of land, in the show Our Yorkshire Farm.
The farmhouse sits amongst rolling hills and greenery, and the exterior is all stone, and it looks like such a magical location. The rustic adobe is home to Amanda’s husband and children, Annas, Violet, Edith, Raven, Clemmy, Nancy, Reuben, Miles, and Sidney, and animals in the house too.
The kitchen boasts a large red AGA where Amanda whips up food for her children, and the dining table is big enough to seat the whole family. Also, there’s fitting artwork in the home, including a photo of a sheep, and the adobe is filled with quirky antique furniture and other keepsakes.
Amanda originally was eager to have a successful career in modeling, following her mother’s footsteps. But soon, the book allured her with the green scenery and beautiful landscape to live a life on the farm. So, she knocked on the door of Clive, who soon became her beloved husband. Amanda Owen is married to Clive Owen since 2000. They are parents to nine children together, Annas, Violet, Edith, Raven, Clemmy, Nancy, Reuben, Miles, and Sidney, while Clive has two children from his previous marriage.
The pair met way back in 1996. Despite not hailing from a farming background, Clive lived at Ravenseat for more than 25 years. Then the divorcee was running his farm single-handedly when he first set eyes on now-wife Amanda.
Despite a 21-year age gap, divorced bachelor Clive, then 42, was drown to 21-year-old trainee shepherdess Amanda when she came knocking on the farm’s door to get a job for herself there. Amanda described the first time they met that she came to burrow a “tup,” which is a male sheep, on a dark Yorkshire evening.

While it certainly wasn’t love at first sight for Amanda, Clive was immediately attracted to the young woman who came to his doorway. They then started off as friends but bonded over time as they shared a passion for farming life and eventually grew it more. Just five years after meeting, the loved-up couple got married in 2000.

Amanda Owen was born in 1975 in Newsome, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, as Amanda J Livingstone. She is currently 46 years old.
Prior to living a farming life, she was interested in taking on the same footstep of modeling which her mother walked through. But some pictures in a book changed her interest from being a model to have a farm life. Then working as a contract shepherd, she was sent to collect a ram from Clive’s tenant sheep farm, Ravenseat near Keld in Swaledale, and love blossomed between her and Clive. They went on to get married, start a family and run the farm together.
While Amanda has been living her idyllic life now, she came from a harsh background, as she tragically lost her dad at a young age. She opened up about her loss in a video for charity Barnado’s, saying: “My name’s Amanda Owen and my dad died when I was 17.” She then said that she had a great relationship with her dad, “Maurice,” a 6 ft9 in “gentle giant,” and would have made more memories with him if she had known she would end up losing such a loving father.
The shepherdess stands at the big height of 6 ft 2 in or 1.88 m. She has a decent weight and a slim body appearance.
