The Descendants and Sideways director Alexander Payne is the new face added to the list of alleged sexual accusations. The 59-year-old film director got accused of sexual misconduct by the Scream actress, Rose McGowan, on 17 August 2020. And concerning the allegations made by McGowan, Alexander Payne is a pedophile, as she was only fifteen when the alleged misconduct happened.
McGowan shared the alleged experience with Payne through her tweets. She started with, 'You sat me down & played a soft-core porn movie you directed for Showtime under a different name.' Also, she added, 'I still remember your apartment in Silverlake.'

Rose McGowan, who is one of the first women to speak openly about Harvey Weinstein's predatory behavior, led him to the fair trial and conviction on sexual charges. And it might be the same consequences as Payne. The Charmed star, who stated that Payne left her in the corner of the street after their time together, shared the picture of herself when she was fifteen.
Through the post, she mentioned that she did not intend Alexander Payne 'to destroy,' but she wants acknowledgment and an apology from the director.
To this date, neither Alexander Payne nor his representatives have responded to the allegations.
