Alex Rodriguez was involved in dating rumors this week with the Real Housewives of New York City, Kelly Bensimon. His rep sternly denied the rumors and said there was nothing romantic between them.
However, Kelly’s team had previously told Page Six that the two had been carrying on a fun text relationship over the past few months. The clarification of A-Rod's CEO’s rep made everyone a bit confused as it clashed on to the statement of Kelly’s team.
Moreover, Kelly Bensimon was seen hitting the beach in a tiny green bikini in Miami on Wednesday while Alex Rodriguez uploaded a selfie on his Instagram attending a basketball game at UCLA with two college students claiming one of them was the daughter of his dear friend. He wrote, “Thanks @miaerdoes for letting the old man hang,” as a caption.
The rumor started when a rep for the RHONY alum said, “They’ve been having a fun text relationship for the last couple of months. She thinks he is charming and a gentleman. They have mutual friends, and she has been talking to him about real estate.” An insider even claimed that Alex had already asked her out more than once, although she had not gone on a date with him.
In contrast to that, a rep for the chairman of A-Rod Corp said, “There are no flirty texts, there is nothing there. A lot of people reach out to him for business purposes. Mr. Rodriguez is laser-focused on running Arod Corp, Timberwolves, and being a present father for his daughters.” A separate source also told E! That they can 100 percent confirm that there was nothing going on and they are not romantically involved.
